Valentine, Oh Valentine!!!

I decided since Valentine's Day is only two days away, I would make a little gift guide for girls like me, who love makeup. If you get her these gifts, she'll definitely accept your Valentine!

1.) Body Wash/ perfume/ candles-

These are great and easy gifts to get. Every girl likes to smell good! But be careful. You don't want her to take it the wrong way; only get it for her if she knows you well-enough to know that you only want to get her something she likes. Also, I would only get her this gift if you're close and know what kind of scent she likes because scents are rather personal!!!

2.) Tester Kit-

If you don't know what she likes specifically, but you know she's into beauty, sample kits are the way to go! Sephora has a great selection of all different kinds of sample kits: from perfume, to mascara, to skin care, she'll definitely find something she likes.

3.) Nail polish kit-

If you're willing to go on the pricier side, (about $25) then you're sweetheart is in for a treat! Nail polish is a wonderful gift anytime but again, it's hard to narrow down the exact color she'll be head over heels for. That's why nail polish kits are great! There are so many colors that there has to be one she loves. And if she doesn't like any, they're mini-sized so she won't be wasting a ton.

4.) Makeup Essentials-

If you're closer to her and you notice some makeup product she uses constantly, I recommend getting her some more! Even if she has a lot of it already, if she loves it that much she'll need more once she's done; you'll be her solution. It also shows you pay attention to the little things and that you really care.

5.) Cheesy Gifts-

Although girls roll their eyes at this in the movies, its really all of our dream gift! Flowers, teddy bears, candy, necklaces. I mean the list goes on and on. No matter what gift you chose I'm sure she'll be happy. I mean its Valentine's Day; it's an excuse to be cheesy!!!

Color Name: Mer-Maid for Eachother
Brand: Nicole by OPI

Can we please talk about how ridiculously gorgeous this color is? I saw the OPI version at a nail place in my local mall the other day, called Just Spotted the Lizard, and loved it. But I didn't end up buying it. Then I saw it today at Target and was like "Okay, it's meant to be." I like the Nicole versions name better too. I think this is kind of a fun spin on a Valentine's Day color. It's unique and isn't pink or red, or any other color peoples nails will be painted this week. The name is pretty romantic too!

I'm going to try to post everyday this week for Valentine's Day (my favorite holiday) so ttyl!

New Products I Can't Wait to Try!!!

It's 2013 and all the makeup companies are coming out with new and exciting products. I have been online window shopping all the time recently, and I can't wait to get my hands on some of these products. This only includes a few of the products I'm super excited about!!!!*

Urban Decay:

Naked Flushed palette:

This face palette hit Sephora's shelves recently as a new installment of the Naked by Urban Decay line. It comes with a bronzer, highlight, and blush and since I just recently got more into face products, I can't wait to test this out!

The Glinda and Theodora palettes:

Are you a good witch or a bad witch? These new palettes, also by Urban Decay are whimsical and wonderful. They're based off of the Oz the Great and Powerful movie coming out soon.

These next palettes come in three different kinds; Easiest Nudes Ever, Sexiest Nudes Ever, and Most Glamorous Nudes Ever. They come equip with four eyeshadows and two cream shadows. And their All Star kits look pretty amazing too!

 

MAC:

Archie's Girls Collection:

This collection has a ton of great shades in lipstick, blushes, and eyeshadow. It's perfectly in time for Valentine's Day. I know this is sad, but I don't know what Archie's Girls is!!!! (I'm young, give me a break!) All I know is this collection looks promising.

Flower:

This is a new cosmetic brand which recently hit the shelves of Walmart's on January 31st, 2013. As you may have guessed by the picture this is Drew Barrymore's beauty line. It is supposedly the same quality as luxury brands, and they are able to sell it at Walmart prices because they don't pay for advertising, which is why you may not have heard of it before.
