3 Beauty Uses for Witch Hazel

1.) Minimize Tired/Red Eyes

If you've been crying a lot lately or just haven't been getting much sleep, this is definitely for you. Soak a clean rag in this and then place over you eyes. In 10 minutes remove and you're done!

2.) Clear Acne

Rub your pimply area with some witch hazel and some people claim that over night their blemish is gone.

3.) Makeup Remover

This step is pretty self-explanatory... just try removing your makeup with this stuff. It's a lot cheaper then actual makeup removing wipes/oils.

Simple lather the area were your blackheads are prominent at night, then in the morning when you wake up. Do this everyday until blackheads are outta here!

2.) Get Strong Fingernails

3 Beauty Uses for Olive Oil

Lately I have been  loving natural DIY's like this. If you want a post like this every week comment or Google Plus this post!!!

1.) Control Your Damaged and Tangled Hair

Simply take some of this product and apply it to dry hair when it's humid outside, or just when your hair feels like frizzing up. Also, try massaging some into you locks and scalp, put a shower cap on, wait 30 minutes... and viola! Nice, shiny, healthy hair!

2.) Exfoliate

This is super easy and takes only a few minutes. All you have to do is rub your skin with some olive oil, then scrub away with some sugar or coarse salt, and rinse. Your finished product should be a baby smooth face!

3.) Bath Oil

All you need to do is mix this with some of your favorite essential oil and you have a nice soothing bath that makes your skin feel baby soft.

Review: Tarte Prime, Shine, and Define Kit

This kit comes with two face products and a mascara. The first face product I'll go over is the Clean Slate Poreless 12-hr Perfecting Primer. I wasn't a huge fan of this product because of the texture. It was very weird when you applied it to your skin because it felt kinda oily (like Vaseline) but it wasn't oily. I think its just because of how soft it makes your skin, but you know that feeling when you think somethings oily, but you don't at the same time? That's how I felt. This is a nice primer, but I couldn't get over the texture.
Next up is the Amazonian Clay BB Illuminating moisturizer. The illuminating is the part that got me, because its not brightening its *dun-dun-duuuuun* sparkly. The shimmer in this made me look oily, which is a problem because I already have combination skin. This is almost the color of my skin but it claims to have a"universal tint." I don't know if that's true, but I am skeptical. I think this would look a lot better on people with dry skin to give them a nice glow,
 instead of an oil slick.
Lastly, but definitely not least, is the Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara. This product made the whole kit worth it! I wanted to try out a high-end mascara so I figured I'd go for this kit and I am so pleased with this product. It lengthens, curls, and defines my lashes (it doesn't give much volume but I have a lot of lashes already.) I will definitely be purchasing this once I run out!

Ipsy/My Galm Bag April 2013

My first bag from Ipsy and I'm soooo excited. I absolutely love everythign I got so I will definitely be keeping this subscription!!!

So this is a styling treatment used to speed up blow-drying time on wet hair and tame frizz on dry hair. This is also the only sample size product in the whole bag (which made me verrrryyyy happy.) It has Argan Oil from Morocco and I'm super excited to give this a try!
 Estimated Sample Value: $4.50

This is my first pigment/loose eyeshadow. I know, that's pretty sad, but I am happy this is the first one I've got because it is a really gorgeous color! The pictures don't give it justice! It's a nice coppery/rose gold color with (obviously) a lot of shimmer.
Full Size: $14.95

Again, the pictures do not do this matte fusha blush justice! This color is very bold but I think it's a great pop of color for the summer time. I'm gonna use it sparingly though!
Full Size: $16

This really made my day because its a full size nail polish!!! Even when Birchbox had nail polishes they were always sample size! The color is really gorgeous it reminds me of a peaches and cream color. It's a bit more orange in the picture than in real life, where its a more muted/pastel peachy color.
Full Size: $5

Review: Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara

In my opinion, this mascara is not worth the hype. For me it didn't even crush clumps! It wasn't a great formula and it still clumped a little if you try to put it on a lot at a time. I also noticed that if I touched my lashes even a little bit throughout the day, it would flake. When I got home from school I was like, "Seriously?" I didn't think such a hyped up mascara would disappoint so much.
I'm sorry that this week all my reviews have been kind of negative, but I haven't really been impressed with drug store products lately.

However, I did get this in water proof. I don't know if that affected any of the things I complained about above. If you have tried out waterproof and non-waterproof or know anything, please comment and tell me what the deal is!!!

♥♥♥- This wasn't absolutely terrible, I just was disappointed because I'd heard such good things!

The Balm Sale ~RANT~

I was soooo excited for The Balm's sale that was supposed to happen yesterday- April 1st. I got up around 10 am (since I'm on Spring Break) and the site still wasn't up. I constantly checked throughout the day, stalking that poor, useless website. The whole day I was met with the same 'Under Construction' sign. I was really disappointed because I had money to actually buy stuff off the website! I even went onto the blog where I had originally found the links to the sale, and sure enough, there was a new blog post explaining that The Balm was having problems with their site!!!

It really sucked! I had gotten so excited becuase there was a sale I could actually participate in, but I ended up not being able to get onto the site! Then I checked later that night and it showed this....

So I'm still waiting.... (I guess I'll be stalking their Facebook now.) But thankfully the sale was delayed along with the site opening, so I didn't have to miss out on such a great bargain!

Sorry this was so cray-cray but I needed to get my beauty blogger stresses off my chest and shed some light on this amazing, to-be sale. So if you're willing to wait, I'm sure it will definitely be worth it!!!

Review: Flower Cosmetics Lip Butter

The shade I got for these Lip Service Lip Butters by Flower Cosmetics, was Rose-y Future.

I have a few things to say about this product. It's not that I dislike the actual lip product, it's just that it's very misleading. First of all, the color on the packaging is way off. On this color, the outside plastic-y, acrylic-y color was a nice kind of coral pink. For example, my mom thought that this color was similar to Strawberry Shortcake in the Revlon Lip Butter line. In reality though, this color was a red/berry color.

It's a little lighter in person, but not much. I mean, really?

That brings me to the next point. This wasn't much of a lip butter, it wasn't sheer at all. I'm not saying that this is bad at all, I'm just saying that its kind of false advertising, saying you'll get a lip butter not a lipstick. Also, the product name isn't even on the actual product once you take off the sticker! I actually had to Google search the names of the Flower Lip Butters because I didn't know it!

I'm not trying to say that the lip product is bad I'm just trying to put across that it was not at all what I was expecting. The product/color was very nice including packaging (excluding the wrong color indicator thingy) and the color payoff. The product was nice, the color was nice, the feel on your lips was nice. It just wasn't what I paid for! It wasn't the color I wanted! I wanted the color that was on the packaging and I didn't get it!!!
♥♥- I only gave this two hearts because of how misleading/confusing this packaging and product name were. Overall it was disappointing.
