Mini Rimmel Haul

1.) Lasting Finish Color Rush Jumbo Lip Pencil- I was so excited to see a new jumbo lip pencil from a brand that I love! There was a wide range of colors, I believe 15 shades. I haven't heard anything about these pencils. From what I can tell they are hard to find, they aren't even on Rimmel's website yet! I got the shade 200 Keep Mauving and I love it so far!

2.) Show Off Lip Lacquer- This is a new line of amazingly pigmented lip lacquers, available in many shades, but definitely less selection than the Lasting Finish Lip Pencils. This product is SUPER pigmented and feels great on the lips. I got the shade 401 Aurora, and I definitely want to get my hands on a more everyday color, since Aurora is pretty bold.

3.) Stay Matte Primer- A new primer to be used in correlation with the Stay Matte Foundation and Stay Matte Powder. I held off on the foundation from this line because people are saying that it accentuates dry patches, which I have a lot of this winter. I'm going to wait until the summer to purchase it, that way I'll have it in my summer shade and dry patches won't be a problem. I like this primer so far but I still need to keep testing it out!

Review: New Revlon Powder Blush

Claims:
~ Soft and silky texture
~Build-able color
~Natural satin finish

These blushes come in a total of 8 colors and one bronzer shade. I have the shade Mavelous. These blushes are new and I believe they will take the place of the old Revlon powder blushes. At least that's what it seems because on their website, if you click on blushes and bronzers, these and the other new cheek products are the only things they have listed. They retail for around $10.
I really like this blush. I only have one shade, so I don't know the quality of the lighter/darker shades, but this one is a winner. The color isn't exactly mauve; I'd describe it more as a watermelon color. It has a little bit of a coral undertone. The payoff is nice on the cheeks, but when you swatch it via fingers it takes a little time to build up the color. I think when applied with a brush to the cheeks, the color comes off a little better than when you swatch it.

(This took 2 swatches to get this payoff)

Overall:
~ Nice color selection
~Nice color payoff
~True to claims
~The names are cute (Mauvelous, Wine Not)
~Affordable
