This setting spray really works wonders! The "matte" effect may not be for everybody, but for people like me with oily skin, matte is definitely a desired look! This setting spray really works wonders for keeping the skin matte for a while after you put it on. I didn't feel self-conscious about my greasy skin through out the day after I applied this.
While this product did great with making sure my skin stayed non-oily it didn't do such a great job with actually keeping my makeup in place. I'm not saying it didn't do anything at all! I did notice that my foundation stayed better than if I had not applied it, but I suppose I was expecting it to stay absolutely perfect. I feel it did a better job keeping my face matte. In comparison the setting effect is not as great as the mattifying effect. It did wear a little bit throughout the day, but not enough to make me regret buying it!
If you have oily skin then definitely give this a go! But everybody's skin is different so I'm not saying it will work the same for everybody, however it did work amazingly on me! I would like to try the original setting spray (All Nighter) to see if it kept my makeup locked in place any better.
