Naked 3 Palette Review & Swatches

Hello Everyone!

I apoligize for my absence in the past few months, but I've been really busy with school. I got a camera (Canon Rebel T3i) for Christmas, so I want to start posting more using my new camera! Anyways let's get along with the review!

Packaging:

So above is the packaging, which I think I gorgeous. Very classy, sleek, and fitting to the rosy theme of the palette. Also extremely travel friendly! The only problem I have with the packaging is that the interior of the palette lifts up when I open it. It's hard to explain so I'll show you a picture.

Swatches:

Shade Review:

Strange: A creamy, matte color with a very slight rosy undertone. Perfect for highlighting brow bone and inner corners of the eyes.

Dust: Super sparkly, light pink shade. Not my favorite because of its flaky,  glittery texture; it produces a lot of fallout. It also isn't very pigmented.

Burnout: Terra-cotta, rose color with a satin finish. Creamy texture and nice pigmentation.

Limit: Light, nude rose color with a matte finish. Nice crease color for those with a light complexion.

Buzz: Definitely one of the most pink colors, it's a deeper dust rose with a slight purple undertone. It has very finely milled glitter, but nothing like Dust.

Trick: Golden, coppery shade also with finely milled glitter. I don't like this shade much either because the pigmentation is lacking and you really have to dig in the pan to get color payoff.

Nooner: Darkest matte shade in the palette. Cocoa brown with a mauve hint to it. Great for deepening up a look without going overboard.

Liar: Another shade with very, very little glitter, but with a seemingly satin finish. Nice neutral brown with a pinky sheen.

 Factory: Deep brown shade also with micro-glitter. This shade has a little bit of fallout but not enough to make me dislike it.

Mugshot: True satin finish slightly taupe-y brown with a very minimal purple undertone, but nothing overwhelming.

Darkside: Darkest brown in palette with a slight gray duo-chrome effect to it. It's almost unnoticeable but it adds a little pizazz to the color.

Blackheart: Beautiful black shade with red shimmer that makes it seem almost a deep purple in the pan. Once swatched it's clearly not purple, but still a great, unique color.

FAQ's:

Is it similar to the other Naked palettes?

I only have the first one (not the second) but from what I can tell, the colors are very unique for this palette. If anything the colors were only slightly similar.

Does the rosy theme make the colors unwearable? 

Absolutely not! They may seem intimidating but once on the eyes, they look quite subtle and neutral.

Is it worth it?

Yes! Although the price does seem steep, these eye shadows will last for years. The shade selection is amazing and you will always be able to create a new look.

Overall:

This palette is really an amazing addition to the Naked palette collection. It's unique from the other palettes, and also many other high end palettes, because I haven't seen many rose themed palettes before. It is definitely a wonderful palette to add to anyone's makeup collection. Although some of the shades were a bit disappointing, I still believe that this palette is well-worth $52.
